Atelier Narae specializes in hand-painted sixth scale action figure heads inspired by celebrities, film characters, and collectible portrait concepts. Each project is individually painted with attention to realistic skin tones, facial depth, texture, and expression to enhance the overall realism of the sculpt.
Projects may include repainting existing head sculpts, likeness enhancement, eye detailing, gloss finishing, facial shading, and optional sculpt modifications depending on the project requirements.
Every repaint is completed entirely by hand and treated as a unique collectible artwork rather than mass-produced customization. No two projects are exactly alike.

Commission Information
Each head is individually hand-painted and completely one of a kind. No previous work is duplicated or recreated, and I do not replicate the work of other artists.
All pricing listed below applies to head sculpts provided by the client. Atelier Narae does not supply action figures, head sculpts, or accessories unless otherwise discussed in advance.
To begin a commission, please email to check current availability. A commission slot is secured with a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
All sales are final.
Services are offered individually, allowing collectors to customize the level of work desired for each project.
Repainting Services
1/6 Action Figure Portrait Head Repaint — $535
Includes:
- full facial repaint
- realistic skin shading and detailing
- head repaint
- eye re-sculpting with gloss finish
Base pricing applies to head sculpts that are already closely matched to the intended celebrity or character.
If additional modifications are required to improve likeness accuracy, extra sculpting work such as eyelid reshaping or eye adjustments may incur an additional fee starting at +$45 depending on project complexity.
Additional Services
Beard Detailing and Sculpting — $40+
Chest Hair — $50+
Body Hair (Arms & Legs) — $90+
Facial Re-sculpting — Pricing varies by project complexity
Additional customization requests may be discussed depending on the project.
Process
To create your custom head repaint, detailed reference photos are highly recommended. Helpful references include facial angles, lighting references, skin texture, hairstyle direction, and expression references.
Each piece is completed in Atelier Narae’s artistic style based on the portfolio examples shown throughout the website. While I aim to capture likeness and realism as closely as possible, artistic interpretation remains part of the final work to maintain consistency and overall quality.
Progress photos are not provided during repaint stages, as completed paint layers cannot be modified without restarting significant portions of the process. However, confirmation will be provided once your materials are received and work is ready to begin.
Final approval photos will be sent before shipment.
Timeline
Completion time is typically 4 to 6 weeks depending on project complexity and current commission workload. Larger or highly customized projects may require additional time.
Each completed piece includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a commission slot. The remaining balance is due within 10 days of completion unless otherwise arranged in advance.
Final photographs will always be provided before final payment is requested.
Minor adjustments may be discussed after completion when appropriate; however, all work ultimately remains under artistic direction to maintain the integrity, quality, and artistic consistency of the final piece.
Payment is accepted through Square via major credit cards and electronic checks. A verified billing address is required for all transactions.
Layaway
Layaway plans may be available upon request and must be approved before work begins.
Typically, half of the remaining balance is due upon completion, with the final payment due within 30 days.
All layaway payments are non-refundable.
